**SUPER SPECIAL UPDATE**
The Meeting is cancelled due to the current development in the pandemic. Things are changing so fast, there is no way to plan for this. For now, lets plan on doing it at the April Meeting on April 15 at DEHops Brewing. But that will remain subject to change for the foreseeable future.
**SPECIAL UPDATE**
We will be going forward with this.
We ask that everyone use some common sense. Don't come if you have traveled internationally in the last 2 weeks, have had contact with anyone known to be ill, have a reduced immune capacity, are an at risk age, or if you are at all uncomfortable with venturing out and breaking quarantine. No sharing cups, and those handling the cups and beer will take every precaution.
We will be making efforts to live stream, or record the informational part for everyone to watch. The information will be posted on the webpage and emailed to anyone that RSVPed. We will also be posting a signup for the actual class in the future.
The regularly planned judging for the March style, SMASH beers, will be conducted at the April meeting at DeHops Brewing.
So save those SMASH beers for next month! The meeting this month will consist of just the BJCP info and tasting.
Come out and hear from James Lewis about the Beer Judge Certification Program.
James is a local accomplished homebrewer and National BJCP Judge.
We are working together to organize a class to prepare people to take and pass the BJCP Certification test.
James will tell us the details of the class, the test, and give us a brief demonstration of what to expect at the class and the test. He has 3 distinctly different beer styles to exhibit.
Please RSVP so that we can be sure to get enough beer and supplies to accomadate everybody for the tasting portion.
Also make certain you have your own copy of the current BJCP guidelines.
